I always love standing under the Cumberland Basin swingbridge, and listening to the vehicles driving overhead. That clunk-CLUNK as they hit the swinging bridge is really satisfying – and I love looking at the bridge mechanics.

Standing under road bridges is the best 🙂 I love the sound they make, it’s so different from the top.

Oooooh, thank you! The spaces under bridges are the best – though I also love the weird clunks when people drive over the top of the Plimsoll Bridge. I need to do some more Soundwalking, and soon

(I always think of that spot as The Cathedral. I saw Ellen Southern do an amazing voice piece under there, and I need to spend more time recording there with my crappy recorder!)
